Welcome to Hinstock Primary School and Hedgehogs Nursery
Where ‘Tomorrow’s success begins today’ and Learning is FUN!
As a school we welcome sharing this important and exciting period of your child’s life with you. We believe in providing inspirational starting points for learning and developing every child’s potential whatever talents and interests they may have.
At Hinstock we provide a stimulating, broad and balanced curriculum, to prepare for your child’s future by developing skills and promoting enthusiasm to pursue learning throughout their lives. We acknowledge the importance of developing a caring and stimulating environment, where your child’s self-esteem grows enabling them to take risks and learn confidently through their achievements and mistakes. We are an inclusive school that builds independence, responsibility, resilience, kindness and resourcefulness in preparation for life in today’s society.
Our aim is to enable every child to fulfil their potential and have opportunities to develop their own skills and interests. We encourage every child to be the best they can be and do the best they can do.
The best way to appreciate our aims and values is to come and visit us. We want your association with the school to be a long and happy one. Working closely with parents and carers is integral for the success of every child. With your help we hope your child will contribute to the life of the school and take part in and enjoy the many opportunities we provide.
Please read this poem by a former pupil in year 6 - it sums up best what we want for our pupils at Hinstock School. Use Your Potential....
Recently the school received a lovely email which shows how proud we should be of our children, they are a credit to the school and to you as parents: 'May I take this opportunity to say that in thirty years of driving countless thousands of children for hundreds of schools over the UK, Hinstock Primary School stands above all others in terms of respect for others, personal behaviour and friendliness to all. For this I thank the children and the culture nurtured by the staff. Kind regards - Damon Crute, DC Coaches Ltd.'

Our school continues to be good with features that we are extremely proud of, including the exceptional behaviour of our pupils and the undeniable fact that pupils are at the centre of everything we do and that learning in our school is fun. The staff were praised as passionate and ambitious and enrichment opportunities were celebrated.
