Clubs Update Summer Term 2025

I thought it would be useful to clarify the situation with after-school clubs going forward for this half-term and into the Summer Term.

Wednesday 3.15pm - 4.15pm:

NEW ActivSports Summer Sports Club to start 07.05.25 running to the end of term. Open to all children from Ladybirds to Owls. 

Limit of 20 places.  Once 25 places has been reached (allowing for 5 reserves) the form will be taken down.  

 PLEASE BE AWARE AS OF 17:02 ON WEDNESDAY 30TH APRIL THE CLUB IS FULL THE NEXT FIVE PLACES WILL BE PLACED ON A RESERVE LIST.   

Thursday 3.15pm - 4.15pm: KS2 Tennis Clubs

Letters and reminders have gone out about this club, but the uptake so far is extremely low! It may be that we can offer places to children in Years 1 and 2, and I will be in touch if this becomes the case.

For a long time, after-school clubs, especially sports clubs, have been supported through the goodwill and volunteering of staff members at no cost to parents, with additional sports clubs provided at a cost to the school. However, financially, this is not a situation we are able to continue with, and from September all clubs will be chargeable as a per session cost through Parent Pay.  This term I will be sending out a survey to parents to gauge interest in the types of clubs they and the children would like to see on offer in the future.
