Hinstock Hedgehogs
Our Nursery provides high quality care and education for children aged from 2 to 5 years. The Nursery opened in April 2008 and is managed by the Governing Body of Hinstock Primary School under Extended School powers.

The Nursery has 3 permanent members of staff, Miss Nina (a qualified teacher) is Nursery Officer in Charge, Miss Lynda and Miss Mandy. The nursery staff pride themselves on providing a happy, safe and stimulating environment for the children in their care.

Following the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, Hinstock Hedgehogs Nursery provides the time to explore a wealth of structured play activities, from which the children learn. With a balance of child initiated and adult lead time, the children learn about the world around and make friends whilst developing their early numeracy and literacy skills. We believe that learning should be fun and provide the basis for the children in our care to become independent and motivated learners.

Class 1
Mrs Jones and Mrs Molloy, the class teachers with the support of Miss Robinson the Teaching Assistant, teach this Reception/Year1 class. They follow the Early Years Foundation Stage profile and the national curriculum.

Class 2
This Year 1/2 class is taught by Mrs Hunter and Mrs Bidgood.

Class 3
This class has Year 3/4 children. The class teachers are Mrs Bidgood (Mondays) and Mrs Griffiths (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays). Mrs Ford supports the class teacher.

Class 4
Miss Davies-Griffith is teaching this Year 5/6 class. Mrs Williams supports the class.
