Attainment at KS2 under new testing arrangements and criteria: (New scaled scores put expected standard at 100)

Reading: 66.7% of children achieved the expected standard or above (National 65.6%, Shropshire 67.9%) with a 105.9 average scaled score. (National 102.6, Shropshire 103). 33.3% achieved a high standard.

Writing: 73.3% of children achieved the expected standard or above.(National 74%, Shropshire 68.3%) 26.7% achieved a high standard.

Maths: 80% of children achieved the expected standard or above (National 69.7%, Shropshire 69.3%) with an average scaled score of 104.9 (National 103, Shropshire 102.8). 6.7% achieved a high score.

Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling (GPS):
86.7% achieved the expected standard or above (National 72.4%, Shropshire 69.3%) with an average scaled score of 107.5 (National 104, Shropshire 103.2). 20% achieved a high standard.

Reading, Writing and Maths:

60% of children achieved the expected standard or above. (National 53.2%, Shropshire 51.2%). 6.7% achieved a high standard.

Phonics Screening Check for Year 1s:

88.2% of pupils passed the phonics screening check, above the national average of 80.6%.

Phonics Screening Check for Year 2 Re-takes:

100% passed as opposed to 66.7% nationally.
